Would that citizens have much believe in "Jesus" it was not depicted as a white male?
It is true that Christianity is followed throughout the world, but very few countries are also committed to the idea of "Jesus" as "Americans … and even" Europeans "are less religious. And the image of" Jesus "in the united states has always been a white male. So what if suddenly all the paintings, statues and ornaments changed to represent wee brown hair, brown skin, Arab male who was "Jesus Christ" (if ever there was a guy)? Would help to dissolve any of the violent conflicts / war between us and the Middle East? Just wondering.
Yawn. Most Christians know that you are fully aware that many representations Jesus as white are incorrect. Curiously, I've never met anybody, ever, who left Christianity after realizing that the man born in the Middle East consider the Middle East. I submit that change all the statues, paintings and decorations not change anything. Everyone already knows Jesus was not white, and it has nothing to do with tensions between Islam and Christianity.
