Trying to find a table with only the following info …?
This painting of a sinking ship, with a woman and her baby climb into a lifeboat … their clothing is indicative of the late 1800s. I know this is not much to go on, but I exhausted my search options and still can not identify the artist or title. Although I watched tons of Winslow Homer paintings, none of them are "he". Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I like a challenge, but ….. I do not think either of them is that you are looking for … for both depict a woman with a child, but not in the way you describe. "Rescue" Mihaly Zichy "The Rescue" Marshall Claxton I'm a fan Winslow Homer, but I do not remember a picture like this of him. I am not a scientist, I could certainly be a mistake! Hope you can find it!
