japanese paintings landscapes

I’m trying to identify an artist or series of paintings featuring rabbits in place of landscape elements..?
I’m desperately trying to find the name of an artist or series of paintings. The paintings are vaguely Japanese in style and as far as I remember feature landscapes where in place of elements such as falling leaves or the froth on waves are hundreds of tiny rabbits. They’re really nicely done and quite beautiful. I’ve seen prints in a couple of different art shops but unfortunately I can’t get back to the shops and after trawling through pages upon pages of google images searches I thought I’d see if anyone on here could lend a hand…
I’m trying to track this down in order to purchase a print for my girlfriend’s birthday so I’d really appreciate any help you could give me!
I’m not sure if this will help at all but if they are all set in landscapes you might try the hudson river school collection and see if maybe you might track them down. They specialized in landscapes and raw nature. Sorry I wish I could be of more help. Good luck I hope you find them that is a really sweet gift, I’m sure that she will love it and if you can’t find it you should tell her how hard you tried I’m sure she will appreciate the thought you put into it.
