How do I get my pictures in a gallery?
Alooot I paint almost 70 .. sitting at home and I want to see poeple. I paint mainly flowers so that the colors are very vivid and vibrant. perfect for summer. How do I get interested galleries my job if I am new to this?? I have a portfolio with pictures and sizes …. I need to know how to "sell" myself? thank you!
Go to galleries and talking to people who run / work. several times when I go to art galleries, after speaking for some time im always wonder if I am not art. they asked what I do and if I can send some pictures of my work. either they love your business or they do not. so just politics with them, and sooner or later you will find somebody who likes your work, but make sure you interested to you as a person as well. Galleries can talk like your work, but if they do not that good "feeling" about you then ……. also remember too, art galleries need to stay in business so be patient, and with the proper state of mind you get what you want. you already a good body of work with 70 tables and a wallet! Bring your portfolio with you when you go to some galleries. success
